Mask of the God Loki used in the film “The Mask II (Son of the Mask)” of 2005
Mask of the God Loki used in the film “The Mask II (Son of the Mask)” Dimensions: 8.5 cm x 10 cm _ Material: super light plastic _ 2005 _ Production_ Provenance: private collection.
Mask with the appearance of the deity of the Norse pantheon called Loki, from the film The Mask II (The Son of the Mask) of American and German production directed by Laurence Guterman in 2005. The mask was made of super-light plastic and has openings for both eyes and mouth. Overall, it is in good condition: it should be noted that in the area of the upper extremity there are the marks left by the teeth of the Otis dog dating back to the initial scene where the puppy finds the mask on the edge of the river. Even the paint of the nose is deliberately missing in the lower part because in a scene in the film we see Otis intent on tugging Loki’s mask.
